How much does it cost to get started?

There are TWO kits to choose from:

• $49 Essentials … everything to meet your crafting and career needs.  Appx. value of products is $130.
• $99 Master kit … includes everything in the Essential Kit PLUS more supplies and 5 Studio J layouts.  Appx. $280 retail value!
• You can view the Consultant Kit HERE.

So, as a new consultant, you have a wonderful opportunity to pick the kit that is right for you (plus tax/shipping).

Is there a minimum requirement? (The most asked question.)

There is a very easy  minimum: only $300 per quarter. There is no penalty if you don’t achieve this.  You would then enter the junior consultant program.

How much do I make?

The sky is the limit!  Every consultant earns 22% commission and can earn even 30%!  In addition, you can earn select product credit rewards from $5 to $75.

Where do I get training?

You will receive great training from many areas:

• From CTMH:  you will receive Start With Heart, a newsletter for new consultants for your first few weeks. This newsletter has great tips and ideas to help you get
  started. It gives you step by step instructions and tips. Plus the Training Academy has FREE ONLINE classes you can take on your time and learn business and creative tips. You’ll love this fabulous program!
• From Me:  I am always here to help you and answer your questions. I want you to be a success and can offer you helpful tips and ideas on how to get started and
  beyond. I have a team Website as well … Coastal Stars that you will be a part
  of and find support from ALL of your “sisters!”
• Events: There are events you can attend that will help you in business and creative needs.  They are LeaderShare events as well as Leadership
  and Convention in the summer.
• Websites:  CTMH has a bulletin board where consultants from all over the country share tips, art, ideas and workshops! It’s a great source! My Team Website:  Coastal Stars is a great online gathering place for support from members on my team. We share art, workshops, answer questions and offer valuable support when in need. 24/7 and you can ask and you shall receive!

I’m afraid I won’t be able to create. Is there any help for me to get started? 

1. YES! The Workshops on the Go program have made it EASY for you to create! Just follow the two page scrapbooking workshop and the bonus projects included in each one of these kits. It’s a great program!
2. One of the best parts of being a consultant is you get creative training! We have a Training Academy filled with artwork, workshops, cutting guides, materials needed and “how to” instructions!
3. Plus, as a new consultant, the Training Academy has a special place for you too! Just click on this button and artwork/instructions have been created for you to duplicate with the items that come in your kit!! How cool is that!?

What kind of incentives does the company offer?

1. Straight to the Top is a fabulous program that helps you set only two attainable goals in a 90 day span. In your first 30 days, sell $300 and receive $25 in Select Product Credit; in your next 60 days, sell $900 and receive $75 in Select Product Credit. This IS doable and many have achieved it! Do both Levels and you receive $100 in free product over the 90 day period with only $1200 in sales overall!
2. Cruise/Trip Contest: If you want to get a free vacation, you can earn one fabulous cruise for TWO with CTMH! I have earned 9 of them and the next one I’ll be on is the Southern Caribbean Cruise in February 2013! Can you picture yourself on a vacation for two? I wouldn’t want to miss any of them!
3. Constant Campaigns is a program where each month the company has something to offer to help you grow your business in sales, recruiting, hostess rewards, or for you, the consultant. Sharing the ‘special deals’ helps boost your sales each month!
4. Stamp of the Month:  An exclusive stamp set @ an exclusive price!  Each month it changes and you’ll want to ‘buy it now!’ A customer can purchase it separately for $17.95, but when they spend $50, they earn it for only $5.00! Another fabulous program that helps you upsell and increase your sales each month.

Does the company offer special promotions? ABSOLUTELY!

Who pays for the Hostess Rewards?

Close To My Heart pays for the hostess rewards, not you. In addition, the hostess receives free shipping on her rewards, compliments of CTMH!
