Kit of the Month: Some Kind of Wonderful

Okay … back in February the ‘throw down’ was issued by Tiffany & Richelle to see what I would create with this kit.  They know ‘my style’ is not one to gravitate towards “Some Kind of Wonderful” workshop Close To My Heart created.  I find it a bit of a struggle sometimes to work with bold, colorful and eclectic patterns.  But once I opened up the kit and pulled the patterns into a pile of combinations, it started to come together.  So, here you go!  I think I pulled it off once I got my juices flowing.  Do you agree?

Now if you kept the ‘circle’ from the Wreath Kit (January’s promo), you can easily use the circle to draw your lines (or an 8 or 9″ plate).  I really love the stamp set, This and That and the sayings you can add from this set.  All of these pages can be used for any type of photos … no particular theme, and the 4×6 and 4×4 photo wells can easily be added to with flip flaps.

Pink and black are a classic color combination and “best friends” can be the furry kind too! I used a 4×6 flip flap to hold more photos or journaling. Lots of photo opps with 4×3 photos and flip flaps.

TIP:  You can always create a 4×6 vertical photo instead of 4×3’s when you add your photos.  Black glitter words, hashtags and adorable stickers are included (complements shown on the right).

Pages 5&6 are Happy, happy day using the green and raspberry and multi color circle papers.  They are colorful, fun and do make you happy!  The Bonus pages 7&8 are about Life Today and I love the blue, white & black color combo.  More photos can be added with flip flaps for sure to all of these layouts.

If you love to use up your scraps and make cards, these are the designs.  You can make 3 of each … with a little paper crafting if the patterns are not identical (’cause we used them to scrap 8 pages!).  The items needed can be found on the shopping list below.
