Create a Rainbow of CARDS with our Thin Cuts

I’m getting ready to head to Las Vegas for Convention and have been having fun creating with this Thin Cut, Z4174 A  Big Thank You:

Our 25% off Create a Rainbow Cardstock selection ends on June 30th.  Here’s two cards using the RED and BLUE packs.  Our FOIL PAPER cuts like butter when thin cut too!

Taking 1×7 and 1×5 strips of cardstock and cutting them corner to corner diagonally gives you the opportunity to use them in a way that makes for a colorful base.

I also LOVE simple!  I chose to dry emboss our VELLUM PAPER and then use our gold and silver foil as an overlay.  The “rainbow” is in the ribbon and gems.  Clean and simple look and I had the confetti folder, but try your dots, stripes and any fun pattern on vellum.  (BTW, many of our embossing folders are ON SALE for $2.75 HERE.)

When you look closely, you’ll see the vellum dots and sheer ribbon and a gem.  Sometimes simple and clean can be a perfect look:

I also had some paper left over from fundamentals (last year’s edition) and some of you may have this in your stash. It’s another RAINBOW of Color!  It’s a nice background for the this too.  You could also have used white or black glitter (we sell a few colors HERE) as the overlay. If you do, make sure you put through your machine 2+ times to cut through. A Big Thank You thin cut can be found HERE.

Here’s another new Thin Cut, Z4175 It’s Your Day:

Well, since I had my craft room completely in disarray with paper, why not make two birthday cards that I needed.  The one on the left is using bashful glitter paper I cut @ 5 1/4 x 4 and centered the thin cut.  I then used both pieces to add to my card with an embossed vellum underneath.  Ribbon and gem … and done!  The one on the right is using paper and gold foil and running the thin cut through white paper again to get the candle wicks.  The ideas are endless!
