OCTOBER Kit of the Month: Hello Pumpkin

Are you ready for Halloween?  Well if so, I have created these four pages using Hello Pumpkin Workshop Your Way product line.  What I love about scrapbooking Halloween is there are limitless ideas on what to create.  You can play with the title, colors, stickers in so many ways.

I did use the Hello Pumpkin Cardmaking Stamp set and thin cut for all the pumpkins/faces.  This stamp set is a keeper!  For cards, layouts, fall themed ideas …

Totally am loving SHAKER ideas!  I did create a shaker element on the layout using the thin cuts and these products.  The shaker window/acetate has 6 in there … and I also used the thin cut rings to cut circles out of our Picture My Life Cards.  You can definitely use them on photos too!  I love the confetti too … really addictive to create and play!

Now this layout below is another design I created and I added one sheet of Toffee (tan) cardstock.  I loved using the flat head water brush to ‘stroke’ our new MINT ink pad color along the bottom of the layout.  It created a simple watercolor look and the technique SUPER EASY!  Do you see the same stamped pumpkins on these pages?  Yep, same stamp and thin cut set. Perfect for pumpkin picking, fall scenes and pumpkin pie making.

Did you happen to notice all the BORDERS on the layouts so far?  Using our new Decorative Border Thin Cuts made it happen!  You get 10 borders for $41.95 …. just over $4 per border!  In the above layout, I used the large scallop at the top and the fringe is in mint; I used the vine and flower borders and cut them apart near the pumpkins.   On the 4 Halloween pages, I used the large  and small scallop, dotted lines for a stitched look too.

Lastly, to show it’s not just for fall and Halloween, when you add the Perfectly Imperfect CARDS ($6.50), you can create this great family layout.  I added a 6 x 12 flip flap, so you actually have 3 pages in the spread.  I also prepped my BASE pages with creating a speckled/splatted look using our new Black and Mint Shimmer Pens ($5.50 each).  

This is the front and back of the flip flap. I did use the Shaker Thin cut circles to cut the cards into circles:  Xoxo, One of a Kind (and the stitched outline too), and Enjoy the little things.
