Holiday Wishes to YOU!

In General Information by Lynn Como

I send out quite a few Christmas and Holiday Cards.  I thought I would share the many styles I created using bits and pieces from previous paper packs and scrapbooking kits.  It’s a lot of fun to take the scraps and turn them into a variety of cards to send out.  I hope you enjoy them all and start looking at your stash to duplicate the ideas shown using up your scraps too!

Some are from way back when … and that’s OK.  I have so many Christmas Stamp sets which gives me JOY to use in whatever way I can.  A few weeks ago, on the Black Friday Sale, I purchased the Silver & Gold Tags.  I used the Silver ones above on the SANTA Cards.  I also used Tis the Season papers and last year’s Silver & Gold (grey falala) paper.  Below is another version using the Gold Tags embossed in our fine gold embossing powder with JOY.  The gold/white diagonal paper is from another workshop kit.

So many styles of  cards can be created using foil or glitter paper, gems or bling, ribbon and inks.  I hope you enjoy these as well. I used the new Christmas Blessings Stamp set and last year’s Silver & Gold papers.  The Nativity is embossed in our fine silver powder and the message is stamped in charcoal ink.  Below that is the Silver & Gold stamp set and more of the papers.

Below … getting back to traditional colors with these gems. Some are using the leftover Picture My Life Cards or zip strips. If you’ve been with me for a few years now, you’ll recognize some of the cards below:

Lastly, City Sidewalk and Sparkle & Shine papers made up the balance of the cards below.  I love the one with 1×2’s of scraps and a border strip on top of their edges.  Super easy and great way to use up the bits and pieces you have lying around.  Add your sayings and some bling … and TA DA!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Holiday Season!  May the New Year bring you JOY and PROSPERITY in 2019!
