Capturing the Summer Season with Backyard Bliss

It’s Summertime and we have our long days to unwind!  I just love the warmer temps and the colorful array of fruits, vegetables and flowers in the garden.  It is truly a season that heightens the senses of sight, sound (birds chirping), smell and taste … all the fresh goodness of the season!  I thought we could take a walk through the ‘garden collection’ of Backyard Bliss.  It will bring you many hours of crafting our Season of Summer!

The Backyard Bliss – Cardmaking Stamp (+ thin cuts) Set is a keeper!  I really like the tree which is 3×4 in size.  The swing can be snipped, if you just want the tree.  I can definitely see using this in the fall with a colorful array of leaves and adding some along the bottom.  But what appeals to me about these card ideas is the ‘hill or valley’ stamp.  Can you see it for the wine country?  For apple and pumpkin picking? Perhaps the scene is perfect to capture photos of your children at the park, climbing and swinging with friends.  Don’t let the artwork fool you into thinking it’s only usable on cards … think outside the box and add it to your layouts too!
