Oh, what a beautiful stamp set!  Perfect for classic cards and heritage scrapbooking with added texture of sponging, overlay stamping and rich tones of color.  These cards below are using our newest X9052 Mixins Paper pack.  The papers and inks are a mixture of these colors:  mink (grey), toffee, espresso and mocha (for your browns) and mist and harbour (for you blues).  These designs were created by the art dept. @ Close To My Heart.

I designed the cards below and used X9048 Mixins Paper pack (still available).  I really loved the colors in this pack and focused on the seabrook, papaya and charcoal grey patterns.

You’ll see plenty of distressing with stamps (overlay stamping in 1st and 2nd generation or two colors), or by sponging and edging with ink.   Our Circle thin cuts helps with the cutting/look of the circular film strip and butterfly. I also looked through my stash of embellishments and found a few jewels to add and a black butterfly paper die cut.  The card on the left uses toffee, espresso and papaya inks.  The middle card uses black and seabrook.  The last card uses pewter and papaya inks.
