How fun is this stamp set?  It definitely got even better with a matching set of THIN CUTS!  Here are some card ideas I came up with using our *new* Make It From Your Heart Vol. 6 program.  I used new sketches in this book to create the cards below.  As you look at each idea, I’ve explained the products I did use to make each one.  Then BELOW the artwork, you can learn how to earn this set with the thin cuts.  I’ll explain the details as it’s a new *twist* on the Stamp of the Month.

I really had a good time bashing my stash and picking out pieces of paper from our kits for September:  The Good Life & Gnomes/Autumn.  The SLIMLINE card below contains the red check and wood patterned papers from our newest X9052 Mixins Paper pack.

On this card idea, I used swatches from The Good Life & Gnomes for All Seasons – Autumn papers.  The star of the show  though … are the owl thin cuts!  It made it so much easier to stamp and color them.  On all the owls, I used our *new* Natural Landscape Color Pencils.  I may have added one or two pencils from the Bright Vivid & the Perfect Portrait.  Coloring is very easy to do with these new pencils.  No watercolor … just simple color and shading on each.

The last card I designed uses The Good Life and X9052 Mixins Paper pack.  All the owls on each card are stamped with Black Intense Ink.

The Art Dept. @ Close to my Heart created these two ideas which are a little more wintery and uses our TEAL Dots.  They used mostly cardstock in sage, rosemary, and mulberry.  Top card has a bit of Mixins toffee paper and on the bottom card, the brown dots paper is from The Good Life:
