Creating Beautiful Floral Cards with Viola or Pansy Stamps and Thin Cuts
Are you looking to add some gorgeous additions to your flower stamp collection? Look no further than the Viola or Pansy sets! Your creativity will soar as you craft unique cards with these stamps. I personally loved using scraps from the X9056 Mixins Papers and playing around with our “purple” color line. With the new Royal ink and cardstock, I was able to bring out the markers I used, which were Lavender and Light Green blends. The result? Pure joy and four stunning cards.

This was the first card I made which has a fun easy fold on the top flap.  I loved adding Lemonade shimmer to the center of the flowers and the Lavendar & Light Green markers gives you three shades in one!  Love that! I splatted a bit of periwinkle or wisteria shimmer brushes on the white daisy rectangle under the flowers.  They are so pretty!  Mixins paper all the way and Royal cardstock and ink for the saying.

This card uses our new Stencil Pack 2 (brick look) in Mink ink in which I splattered with Charcoal shimmer brush on top.  The Jade cardstock added a nice pop of color, and the white daisy has delicate splatters of wisteria shimmer brush under the flower.  The Viola is stamped in charcoal this time for a softer look.  I used my waterbrush and dipped it in inks of periwinkle and royal, jade for the leaves.  The sentiment is stamped in charcoal, the thin cut is an oldie but goodie for the ruffle lace look.  To top it all off and complete the look, I added some purple gems from my stash.  Oh how pretty this is in person!

Here’s another set of cards I made up using our Slimline cards, and just a tad of scraps from Sweet Memories and X9056 Mixins Papers.  I never get tired of using my thin cuts to help elevate the look on a card.  The card on the left uses Z4620 Small Shaker Window thin cut.  My cute squiggles are from stash of waxy flax string in periwinkle and royal.  The card on the right uses the Stencil Pack 2 for the brick look, same charcoal shimmer splatters and Green Dots.  I took my rectangle thin cuts to create the look under the flowers.  Always fun to pull out the old and mix it up with the new!
