With a mountain of seasonal goodies to snip, stack, glue, pop, sprinkle glitter like a fairy, emboss, and splatter, it’s a crafting paradise! Let’s just say my hours were a whirlwind of joy, rummaging through my stash, unearthing old favorites, and throwing in some shiny new gems for good measure!
Instructional Brochure & Kit Contents:
On the front cover of the brochure, you’ll find the ten cards you can create. This includes two designs with five of each, totaling ten cards. Additionally, this kit features a charming mini stamp set along with an ink cube, punch-outs (such as birds and sprigs of holly), pre-cut pieces of red ribbon, glue dots, pop-up dots, adhesive tape, and ten beautiful envelopes. Apologies, but I couldn’t resist cutting some up to craft even more cards, as I adored their elegant appearance!
The instructional brochure makes it simple to create all 10 cards. However, I wanted to make even more, and since these were trifold cards, I was able to obtain several 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 swatches from each one! Oh, what fun it was to get creative!
Let’s Make some CARDS!
Please NOTE: In order to make all of these cards, I used the #159276 Basic White 8 1/2 x 11 Cardstock and cut 15 sheets in 1/2 to make the card bases. Plus, the Basic White Envelopes gives you 40 envies for this project. Â
On the first card below, I pretty much followed the pattern in the brochure but modified the card itself and created 5 cards. I dug into my embossing folder stash and pulled out a WOOD look embossing folder. Otherwise you could use BIRCH 3D embossing folder.  By the way, if you love this kind of look with birds, nests, trees, twigs, etc. you’ve got to check out this line, Nests of Winter.
On the second card, I also followed the directions and stamped the green frame with the mini ink cube and sprig stamp and created 5 cards. I embossed the front of the card with a snow-dot embossing folder. However, the snowflake sky #3D embossing folder would work out great too! I added the black liquid pearls to the ‘eye’ and a little bit of stickles to the berries.
On the third card, I just couldn’t resist doing something with the envelopes. So I only took 5 of them and created this card idea (I may send out the other 5 or create more cards). It was a close cut, but I cut the envelope flap off first, then trimmed around the gorgeous green metallic line to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to cover the card front. The bottom right sprig was the envelope. I used the Golden Greenery die cuts (sprigs) on green cardstock (green apple or garden green work). I added the Cherry Cobbler Adhesive backed berries and stamped Tis the Season (Close to my Heart) in Real Red ink. Lastly, a little extra sparkle was added with stickles. I love this simple and elegant card idea that was super easy to create!
Now we are going to switch over to a little bit of BLUE on the 4th card idea. I cut the blue card with green metallic sprigs to 4 x 5 1/4″ size. The center of the card was plain so I die cut an ornament (about 3 1/2 x 3 3/4″ made by Close to my Heart) out of the center of the card and used it on the 5th card. I then used the same die cut (ornament) and applied it to green glitter paper. I had this ribbon in my stash and created the sprigs using Golden Greenery die cuts. Used the white tabs/labels and stamped my sentiment with the mini cube ink from the kit. Yes, I created 5 cards.
On the fifth card, I continued on with the blue theme and took the ornament die cut out of the center of the previous card and backed it with white. The blue check paper is from A Little Bit Festive 12 x 12 Mix & Match specialty designer series paper. You’ll see green glitter paper (snowflakes and ornament topper), blue glitter paper (strip) and the green paper below is just more leftovers from this card kit. Once again, I had this ribbon in my stash and created the sprigs using Golden Greenery die cuts. I used the white tabs/labels and stamped my sentiment with the mini cube ink from the kit and created 5 cards.
On this very last card idea (card 6), I had to figure out what to do with the arched green metallic edged die cut from the Card Kit. It has a snow-like background that I wanted to pronounce so I used different components of the Peaceful Evergreens bundle on this card idea. I embossed the Painted Tree 3D Embossing folder to the arched piece. I die cut the evergreen tree on white and stamped the tree with green ink. A great way to use up the leftover green paper was to die cut the center ‘stem’ of the tree and die cut the ‘holes’ background on the green paper too. A bit of white glitter paper for the star and strip along the edge. Lastly, the green diagonal paper came from Sentimental Christmas pack of paper.  Peace * Joy * Love were three stamps I had in my stash that I placed on one block and stamped it on white paper. Green stickles were added to the trees and dots to the sentiment. So, so pretty!
Believe it or not, there are still more scraps left to create with!
