🍂 Suite Spotlight: Painted Patch – From Cards to Scrapbook Pages!

You’ve already seen my 14-page Painted Patch scrapbook kit, but did you know this collection is just as much fun for cardmaking?

Painted Patch has quickly become one of my favorite collections for fall. With its playful pumpkins, coordinating Designer Series Paper, stamps, dies, embossing folder, ribbon and embellishments, there are so many ways to use these products.

Stampin’ UP! has created some adorable cards with the collection—and I’ve been having fun putting it to work on scrapbook pages, too!

💌 Cardmaking Inspiration

These ideas are great for a jumping off start to use on cards.  But you can apply the same style or technique to any project too, especially scrapbooking!  Here are a few samples:

I just love the colors on the card above!  So on trend with a cheerful palette.  The background is the Rustic Check 3D embossing folder on Pool Party Cardstock.  The pumpkins are using the MASKS and a blending brush with a soft touch in Calypso Coral; “Hey” stamped in Cajun Craze and the vines are die cut on Cajun Craze cardstock.  Cute DOTS are in the Golden Glow.

One of the things I LOVE about this card idea are all the DIE CUTS!  The GATE and FENCE are adorable and the mini pumpkin dies … sweetness overload!  The pumpkin paper pattern is a soft look and can be combined with light or dark tones.

Are you enjoying the color selection using complimentary colors?  The background is again embossed with the Rustic Check 3D folder; the check pattern is from the Painted Patch Designer Series paper.  These pumpkins are stamped, masked for color and the saying is white embossed on Secret Sea cardstock.  Another cute card!

📸 Scrapbook Inspiration

Here are a few highlights from my Painted Patch 14-page Scrapbook kit.  Take note of some of the details ….

This layout is so soft and pretty!  The highlights are the gorgeous Golden Glow GATE & FENCE die cuts and using the vine MASK to add vines on the front of the fence.  Those adorable mini pumpkins are all die cut on light Cajun Craze; and the bow adds the right touch!

Offering a more monochromatic design with ‘oranges,’ you get a completely new look!  The pumpkins are MASKED and stenciled in with coordinating ‘oranges.’   Once again, the GATE & FENCE capture your eye and are on Cajun Craze cardstock.  I chose to use Crumb Cake ink to make all the stems, vines and leaves for this layout.  Aren’t those pumpkins cute?

This is one of the two BONUS Layouts and what I love about it is that I used the Pumpkin Die Cuts to cut them out of the coordinating Painted Patch Designer Series paper.  Makes them a breeze to die cut and use!  These are just so bright and cheerful!
