No yelling, “TIMBER!” when you have these papers and a workshop kit at your fingertips!  What a nice surprise to play with some dark, rich colors in PLAIDS for a change!  We have a blue/green plaid, a buffalo check in black and red … and OH … the WOOD GRAIN pattern is a must in any crafters stash!  Let’s check out the scrapbook pages and there are some great cards (workshop kit) you can add too!

With all this working from home, being home, staying home … Do you have CABIN FEVER?  I fell in love with the buffalo check and added the X9017 Mixin papers to create this kind of layout.  Another one of favorite designs/layout …  and I could see a bear or two (at the window, on the wall, on the floor …). See my imagination working???  lol

However, I was excited to use the stamp set from the G1210 Timber Card workshop.  Look at these great masculine cards you can make (16 total).  The workshop kit includes the papers, cards, wood embellishments and the stamp set with thin cuts:

My guys love to fish and these thin cuts make is super easy to stamp and use this set.  Not only did I make the 16 cards, but I was able to use the stamps and thin cuts on this BONUS Layout.  I stamped the fly on the patterned Mixin papers.  I added the exclusive Topography paper (only sold in the workshop kit here).  I took the Picture My Life Card and used our Block Alphabet Thin cuts to get the word FISHIN’ … and stamped those cute circles.

One more thing I did before I called it COMPLETE!  I was having my coffee first thing in the morning and when I am creating the night before, I like to go back into my creative studio and look at my designs.  I was looking at the title and it dawned on me this would look great with our silver thread wrapped around the letters like a fishing line.  So I took the thread and a needle and poked through, around and down to create an extra layer of texture and a great design element to this title:
