S2307 The Bee’s Knees Stamp of the Month for JULY

I had fun playing with this stamp set and bashing my stash from Sweet As Honey.  I pulled out some scraps and created this adorable layout, using a honeycomb stencil, black shimmer brush splatters, honey butter, black and sundance inks.  I used a few markers to color in the flowers and the bee.

I applied the same ideas with a stencil, but embossed the bee on vellum with black powder.  I love splattering the background with black shimmer brush.  I tore our new x9050 Mixins paper and add the label thin cut.  The saying is in the stamp set The Bee’s Knees.

Here’s another card idea where I stenciled with mustard seed distressed oxide ink on vellum and then applied clear powder on top to emboss it.  So fun!  Under it is a 4×4 white piece stamped with the bee in black ink (no coloring in!).  Some yellow dots (low in quantity) to complete the look on this card.
