Adding Layers of Texture for Scrapbooking or Cardmaking
Distressing with Neutrals and Overlay Stamping
I love neutrals and seeing how effective they can be on a crafting project. Using these shades of brown, Toffee & Espresso, I was able to add a soft touch and two layers of distressing with these neutral inks. I then topped it off overlay stamping for added depth, in both 1st and 2nd generation. This is just a fun and simple idea you can apply to scrapbook pages and the card shown.
I used the following products on the card:
- S2309 Thoughtful Tokens, the September Stamp of the Month
- X9048 Mixins paper
- INKS in Toffee, Espresso (or Mocha is optional) and Papaya are the colors featured. ‘
- This same look has so much potential with greys (Linen, Mink, Pewter, Charcoal)
- Or pick your favorite color palette , or layer in blues or greens
All of these cards use the X9048 Mixins paper pack (toffee, seabrook, papaya and charcoal patterns)
