Have you heard the NEWS?

In Featured, General Information, Lynn's Kits of the Month by Lynn Como

Hi friends,

I’m back from our trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico (Cancun). It was wonderful having my family with me! It’s incredible to think that back in 2004, Rick and our boys were on my first incentive trip with Close to my Heart. Now, they joined me on my final incentive trip with SU!, along with all the Makers who have been part of this journey over the years. Who could have imagined that our journey from the beginning to the end would be filled with family moments? Despite the sad news that the company I’ve been a Consultant for 28 1/2 years is closing down, we still had a great time on our vacation.

As I was away on a well-deserved vacation, I couldn’t immediately share this news with everyone. Therefore, I’m reaching out to inform you about the current developments. If you are a VIP or a loyal customer, you should have received a letter from SU! with the details around 2/27/24 via email. In case you missed it, please check your spam folder. Nonetheless, I will share the contents of the letters here. If you are a VIP, kindly review the information regarding your subscription and rewards.

Looking Forward
The past 10 days have been quite intriguing as we’ve been diligently gathering information about what lies ahead. Close To My Heart has shared that they are currently in talks with Stampin’ Up to introduce our scrapbooking line to their crafting community. This upcoming transition will be significant for both companies and all the Makers involved, as we strive to comprehend its implications. In two weeks, I will be attending a Founders/Leaders meeting in Utah, now scheduled to take place at the Stampin’ Up headquarters in Riverton, Utah. I am eager to uncover all the specifics about programs, compensation, products, and more, and to explore what the future holds for us.

Exciting Updates on Scrapbooking Products

Stampin’ Up might soon acquire Jeanette Lynton’s patents for our high-quality scrapbooking products such as albums, page protectors, flip flaps, and acrylic stamps. Some items may currently be out of stock on my website due to this potential acquisition. Furthermore, there are rumors that the scrapbooking kits and paper suites planned for May/June and possibly July/August could also become available. Stay hopeful and patient as both companies work out the details. The prospect of collaboration has generated a lot of enthusiasm, and a partnership with Stampin’ Up seems promising since they currently do not offer a scrapbooking line.

Key Dates

Kindly be aware that April 30th marks the final month of commissionable sales for all Close To My Heart Makers. Following this, from May 1st to June 30th, there will be a liquidation of all products. Additionally, if the compensation, programs, and products align with Stampin’ Up, many Makers will embark on a new journey from May 1st onwards or shortly after. The future holds the answers…

Current Product Availability

When visiting my WEBSITE, you might notice items marked with a red banner regarding their availability. We can only provide estimated dates like “March 2024 or April 2024.” Many of the new products featured in the March/April Catalog will be restocked. However, if you search for something like “4×6 flip flaps” and find no results, it means the item is no longer in stock. Keep in mind that some of our top scrapbooking products are transitioning to Stampin’ Up. It will take some time to determine the exact return dates and which products will be reintroduced to the market.
