Oh where oh where am I now?

This week I’m in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It is another trip I earned along with Lisa Violette.  Yesterday, Lisa and I had our first excursion called the side by side. We started out with a dirt ride on an ATV.

Lisa did the driving and I took the pics. What a bumpy road along a dry rocky pathway. Fun ride with lots of jiggling along the way.

After our ride, we enjoyed a nature walk to a lovely grotto surrounded by some rocks and trees. The water was crystal clear and slightly cool. A lovely way to wash off our dirt and enjoy a refreshing dip.

After our dip, we were back on the bus for a ride to a beautiful tropical destination: Playa Blanco. Here we enjoyed a scrumptious lunch under the palm trees. We had about 45 mins. to delight in the white sand and turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea. Stunning beach with magnificent palm trees reaching for the water and sky. I just loved it here and would love to take this memory back home with me.

We then headed to our last adventure of the day. A Catamaran ride to a sand bar with more swimming in the tropical water.  We then cruised along the coastline to view Tortuga Bay where the rich and famous stay.  The water is so blue and welcoming and Lisa and I had a fantastic day!
